Oh you’ve looked at a bunch of them, but you’re just not sure which one you’d like the best and which one would work best for you. Never fear. Decide Where to Install Your Hot Tub
Would you enjoy your hot tub more outdoors, enjoying beautiful summer and winter nights in complete comfort, or would you prefer the privacy and security of an indoor location? If you prefer an outdoor location, look for a spot that’s pleasing for you (near a garden or a spot you’d like to make beautiful) and convenient for you.
Wherever you choose to put it, just be sure there are no trees or shrubs nearby that will drop nasty things into the tub. You’ll also want to be sure there’s enough level space for your hot tub, as well as a walkway and access to electricity.
Indoor locations have much of the same requirements as an outdoor spot. (Well, trees aren’t an issue anyway, or at least, we’d hope not.) You’ll just need to make sure the floor can support the weight of the tub, water, and occupants.
Find a Hot Tub that Fits Your Family

All tubs are made differently, from different materials, so you’ll need to decide what you need here as well. If you plan to install your hot tub outdoors, you’ll need to consider things like additional insulation, a durable basin, and appropriate exterior.
If there’s a chance you’ll be moving, or aren’t sure about the location, you might want to choose a portable-style hot tub. They’re often far less expensive and much easier to move.
The Fun Part of Hot Tub Buying
Once the hard work is out of the way, you can enjoy the fun part of hot tub buying. If you haven’t yet, take time to venture down to a dealer with a showroom and try a few different tubs. Try different seating arrangements and options, tubs with different controls, and features. Just be sure to bring your bathing suit!
While you’re there, you’ll also want to take some time to decide what kind of accessories you’ll need. Covers, towel warmers, safety locks and shutoffs, awnings, and other items can turn a wonderful soak in the hot tub into a whole new experience.
